The island of Tahiti is 4,109 miles from Los Angeles. Brad Light and I ran there.
Starting in January 2011 we ran the equivalent distance it would take to get us to Tahiti. At the same time we put $1 in a savings account for every mile we ran. By the time we got to 4,109 miles, not only did we run the distance to get to Tahiti, we had money saved to actually go there!
See first blog entry for more details on the origin of this journey.
Now that we ran to Tahiti, I’ve continued to use this blog to write down the thoughts that I think need to be shared. Frequent topics include motherhood, running, creativity, and literature.
